My new PC arrived today. Custom built by Vadim, overclocked, and watercooled. It is, quite simply, a beauty.

Important note for ATI users: You must download and install this hotfix in order to be able to run the Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars demo. The next revision of the ATI drivers is going to include the hotfix.

On Monday 10th September the Enemy Territory:Quake Wars Demo, which contains one finished map, is set for release.
This is good news. When the demo for ET (ET:QW’s predecessor) came out it also contained one map, Fuel Dump, which gave players a chance to adapt to the gameplay without being confused by changing objectives and spawn [...]

Like the PS3, the Wii is suffering from a lack of quality titles (unless you’re 12), and with the exception of Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition there’s not a great deal available once you’ve got bored of Wii Sports or quit playing it, like many, for medical reasons.

Finally, Enemy Territory:Quake Wars has an official release date. Europe and Australia will ship on 28th Sept, whilst the U.S. ships 2nd Oct.
It’s not clear when everyone else in the world gets it, or when Australia became more important to gaming than, well, Asia - but it’s a start.
It’ll be interesting to see how ET:QW [...]
